Position: Senior Data Analyst

We are actively seeking a Senior Data Analyst to fulfil a pivotal role in our strategic decision-making
processes. The responsibilities of this position include gathering, analysing, and transforming data
into actionable insights that will drive our market strategies forward. As an esteemed member of our
Data Intelligence Team, you will champion and cultivate a data-driven culture within our
organization. Your analytical expertise will be instrumental in propelling our business goals, and we
are committed to providing substantial support for your professional growth.
Key duties:
- Conduct data modelling and formulate SQL queries for in-depth analysis.
- Leverage Power BI to create BI dashboards that will help deliver key insights for managers every day.
- Oversee 2 junior analysts and work in conjunction with the Commercial BI team to streamline data analysis and data retrieval processes.
- Thoroughly understand Essbase, Microsoft excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Be confident in pitching to the management directors and other stakeholders including high profile investors.
- Engage with different teams to meet data needs and convert intricate datasets into understandable visualizations.
- Cooperate closely with the team to improve our data analysis instruments and techniques.
- Break down projects into organized tasks with defined milestones and outcomes. This includes annual budget forecasts and pricing data.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Science, Business Information Systems, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with ability to streamline business reporting processes.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and six sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Essbase, and Excel.
- Experience with programming languages such as R or Python is desired but not necessary.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions
